“Creating means discovering new things, you never know exactly where you will end up. That’s the magic, why I do it.”

Pauline Hoogweg writes, designs, and teaches at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, on the Communication and Multimedia Design Program. She studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, at the St Joost School of Art & Design Breda and at the University of California Berkeley.

She received several international awards for book design. She is the author of 22 + 9 (poetry book), Moed je doen! (a survival guide for doing your dream project) and De wereld maakt een koprol (a picture book).

In her work she focuses on creating space. She loves working on projects that spark energy and bring people together.
